Is LoyalFans Safe?

Written by Sophia Brecht Published Last updated

Is LoyalFans safe for creators? On the evidence of its own documents, mostly yes. A named company, TLFPAY LLC, runs it from Florida. Every creator’s government ID goes through a third-party check, content is reviewed before it is published, and the settings include two-factor login, regional blocking and watermarks. The weak spots are how little LoyalFans publishes about itself and terms that contradict each other in places.

For this guide we read LoyalFans’ terms of service, its Creator Supplement, its Acceptable Use Policy and the relevant help articles on 30 September 2026.

Is LoyalFans legit or a scam?

LoyalFans is a legitimate business with a named operator, a published address and current legal terms. TLFPAY LLC, a Delaware company at 7901 4th St N #34206 in St. Petersburg, Florida, is the party you contract with, and the terms of service were last revised on 8 July 2026.

It also lists a support address (support@loyalfans.com) and a phone number (+1 727 275 1758), pays creators on a published twice-monthly schedule, and shares its operator with Playboy Club. Fans who spot an unfamiliar card charge should know that LoyalFans bills under the name LoyalBills.com.

How does LoyalFans check who creators are?

Every creator uploads “valid government-issued picture identification (in color)” showing legal name, date of birth and expiry date, and LoyalFans verifies it with a third-party service. Its studio sign-up flow names that service as Ondato.

Creators must be at least 18, or the age of majority where that is higher, and must keep age records under the US 2257 rules. Anyone else who appears in the content needs written consent and ID, and has to be tagged if they have their own LoyalFans account. Our sign-up guide lists what to prepare.

Does LoyalFans review content before it goes live?

Yes. The Creator Supplement says LoyalFans “reviews all Creator Content before it is published to the Website”, and live streams can be stopped while they run. Stories pass through the same review.

The Acceptable Use Policy, updated 8 July 2026, also bans photorealistic content substantially generated by AI, and AI systems that talk to fans “without human oversight”. Anyone using a chat team should check that people write the messages. At Bunny Agency every message is written by a trained person, with software only as an aid.

What privacy tools does LoyalFans give you?

The main ones are two-factor login, blocked regions and watermarks, all switched on in settings. The table shows what each tool does.

Who is behind LoyalFans?

TLFPAY LLC is the contracting company, and it also runs Playboy Club. LoyalFans calls itself privately held and names no owner; Byborg Enterprises lists “Loyal Fans” among its brands, and The Hollywood Reporter has reported Byborg as the owner. The full record, trademark included, is in what LoyalFans is.

Where do LoyalFans’ own documents disagree?

In at least five places, each of them affecting money or timing.

  • The payout page gives a $50 minimum; the terms say the threshold varies by method and country and is shown in your account settings.
  • The deadline for changing payout details is two business days on the payout page, 48 hours in the terms and three business days in the app.
  • The Creator Supplement caps free trials at one month, while the campaign tool offers up to a year.
  • The Creator Supplement says chargebacks reduce creator earnings; the terms say creators are not held responsible for chargebacks caused by fraud or platform errors.
  • The payout page calls the 5% referral share “FOR LIFE”; the referral terms let LoyalFans change or end the programme.

We read these as untidy drafting. In each case we follow the strictest version or whatever the settings screen shows.

Is your money safe on LoyalFans?

Largely, with the usual platform powers attached. LoyalFans pays 80% of fan payments twice a month, but it can hold unpaid earnings “for as long as is necessary to investigate” suspected fraud or a breach of its rules.

A few more rules are worth knowing before you rely on the income. Earnings left unpaid for 12 months because your payout details were wrong are forfeited. LoyalFans can close an account on 30 days’ notice for any reason (at least 15 days for EU and UK business users) or at once for breaches, and then pays undisputed earnings within 45 days. Disputes go to binding arbitration under Delaware law, with a class-action waiver.

Is it safe to let an agency help with your LoyalFans account?

It can be, as long as your login stays yours. The terms forbid giving anyone your password, tell fans that “nonparties may assist Creators”, and leave the creator responsible for everything posted. The built-in route is delegated accounts, which you can revoke whenever you like.

Whoever helps you, keep the account email, the two-factor device and the payout details in your own hands. Ask any agency in writing how it will access the account, and whether it would move you under a LoyalFans studio account and at what split. The agency contract checklist covers the clauses to look for.

So is LoyalFans trustworthy?

For a creator, yes, within the limits above. It is a real company with ID checks, content review and privacy tools, and it pays on a published schedule. It does not publish its audience size, and its rules are spread across documents that disagree, so treat your settings screen as the final word and then decide whether LoyalFans is worth your time.
