LoyalFans vs OnlyFans

Last updated

LoyalFans vs OnlyFans starts level: both platforms keep 20% of what fans pay and pass the rest to the creator. The differences lie elsewhere. LoyalFans builds live cam shows, pay-per-minute private shows, one-on-one calls at up to $90 a minute and separate video, audio and image stores into the platform, and pays out twice a month. OnlyFans reports 377.5 million registered fan accounts; LoyalFans publishes no fan count.

LoyalFans vs OnlyFans: how do they compare side by side?

LoyalFans facts below come from its own terms, help centre and app, read on 30 September 2026. The last column says where each OnlyFans entry comes from, and where we have not checked one.

LoyalFans calls its referral share lifetime, though its referral terms let it change or end the programme. More on that in our LoyalFans referral programme guide.

Do LoyalFans and OnlyFans take the same cut?

Yes, 20% each. LoyalFans’ Creator Supplement deducts “a platform fee equal to 20% of all Fan Payments” and pays the creator the other 80%, and it defines fan payments to include gifts, which is LoyalFans’ word for tips. OnlyFans’ terms say its fee “is calculated as 20% of the total Fan Payment”.

Two LoyalFans details change what you actually receive. Refunds and chargebacks reduce the creator’s earnings without reducing the platform fee. And LoyalFans sometimes raises the creator share for a day or a month: 100% on International Content Creators Day, and 85% for all of November 2021.

What does LoyalFans have built in?

A set of paid features that sit next to the subscription, each with its own price limits:

FeatureHow it works on LoyalFans
Go LiveLive cam shows for the public, followers or subscribers, with three tip-goal levels
Private showsViewers pay $1 to $30 a minute for an exclusive part of a live
One-on-one callsAudio or video, $1 to $90 a minute, with tips during the call
Video storeClips sold outside the subscription, files up to 6GB
Audio and image storesSold item by item; the image store launched on 26 March 2026
Shout OutsShort custom videos on request, from $5, delivered in 3, 7 or 14 days
Paid incoming messagesFans pay to message you; you are paid if you answer within 72 hours

We have not matched each row against OnlyFans’ current features for this page, so read it as what LoyalFans offers, not as a list of things OnlyFans lacks. The subscription is also narrower: one price per profile, with no tiers in LoyalFans’ help centre or app, which pushes pricing work into bundles, campaigns and the stores. LoyalFans vs Fansly compares that with a platform that does offer tiers, and our LoyalFans live streaming guide covers the live settings.

How do LoyalFans payouts work?

Twice a month, in US dollars. Earnings from the 1st to the 15th are paid within 7 working days of the 15th, and the rest of the month within 7 working days of month-end. The public payout page gives a $50 minimum, while the terms say the threshold depends on payout method and country and is shown in your account settings. ACH, EFT in Canada, UK local transfer, PagoMundo in Latin America, SEPA and Paxum are free; an international wire costs $45 and crypto $20. Details are in LoyalFans payouts.

Which platform has the bigger audience?

OnlyFans, on the only numbers available. The FY2024 filing of Fenix International Ltd, the company behind OnlyFans, reports 377.5 million registered fan accounts. LoyalFans publishes a creator count, “more than 25,000”, and no fan figure, so the two numbers do not measure the same thing. Inside LoyalFans, creators who go live, take calls or offer Shout Outs appear in dedicated listings, which is one way a smaller platform helps a new account get seen.

How do creators run LoyalFans and OnlyFans together?

By keeping OnlyFans off your LoyalFans page. LoyalFans’ acceptable use policy says creators “may not promote, advertise, or link to competing adult content platforms”, and that includes usernames, profile links and referral codes. Your LoyalFans bio, posts and messages therefore never mention your OnlyFans. Send fans to each platform from your social accounts instead. Agencies do run both: MAHO Management describes LoyalFans as a secondary platform with “a reduced 1-2 posts per week with light DM coverage”. LoyalFans marketing explains how we send traffic from outside, and what LoyalFans is covers the platform from the start.

Frequently asked questions

Does LoyalFans or OnlyFans pay creators more?

Per sale, neither. Both platforms’ terms, read in September 2026, fix the fee at 20%, leaving the creator 80% of each fan payment. The gap is in how the money is made. LoyalFans lets you charge by the minute for private shows and for calls, up to $90 a minute on a call, while the company behind OnlyFans puts its audience at 377.5 million registered fan accounts and LoyalFans offers no comparable figure. Which earns you more depends on what your fans come for.

Can I run LoyalFans and OnlyFans at the same time?

Yes, and agencies already do: several of the agencies in our commission study list LoyalFans next to OnlyFans. The rule to watch is LoyalFans’ own. Creators may not promote or link competing adult platforms anywhere on LoyalFans, and that covers usernames and referral codes as well as links. Keep your LoyalFans profile and messages free of OnlyFans references, and point fans to each account from your social media instead.

Should a new creator start on LoyalFans or OnlyFans?

It depends on how you want to earn. If live shows and paid calls suit you, LoyalFans builds both in and lists creators who use them in their own directories, which helps a new account get found. If you plan a subscription feed promoted on social media, the platform with the larger reported fan base is the obvious candidate, and the agencies in our study that write about LoyalFans treat it as a second channel. Starting on one does not stop you adding the other later.
