LoyalFans vs Fansly

Written by Sophia Brecht Published Last updated

LoyalFans vs Fansly is a choice about format more than fees, because both platforms keep 20% of what fans pay. LoyalFans pays out twice a month, allows one subscription price between $1 and $50, and has paid private shows and per-minute calls built in. Fansly lets you run several subscription tiers from $5 to $499.99 a month and pay out on request from $20.

The LoyalFans figures were checked against LoyalFans’ own terms, payout page and help centre on 30 September 2026. The Fansly figures come from Fansly’s terms and help centre as verified by our team on 20 September 2026; we did not re-read them for this page, so check Fansly’s terms if a number decides anything for you.

How do LoyalFans and Fansly fees compare?

They are the same on paper: 20% to the platform and 80% to the creator. LoyalFans’ terms say “Our fee is 20% of the total Fan Payment”, and Fansly’s say “Creators earn eighty percent (80%).”

On LoyalFans the 20% applies to every fan payment, tips included, and is worked out excluding any tax element. LoyalFans also runs occasional promotions that raise the creator’s share for a day, such as 100% on International Content Creators Day in August. We did not check whether Fansly runs anything similar. One LoyalFans detail worth knowing: refunds and chargebacks reduce your earnings but not LoyalFans’ fee.

Which pays out faster, LoyalFans or Fansly?

They work on different models, so it depends on your balance. LoyalFans pays on a fixed schedule twice a month; Fansly clears each payment after about 7 days and pays when you request it, within 4 business days.

LoyalFans’ payout page sets two periods, the 1st to the 15th and the 16th to month-end, each paid within 7 working days of closing. That page gives a $50 minimum, while LoyalFans’ terms say the threshold varies by payout method and country and appears in your account settings. Its payout settings list free ACH, SEPA, UK local, Canadian EFT, PagoMundo and Paxum transfers, a $45 international wire and a $20 crypto payout. Fansly’s general minimum is $20. Both platforms deal in US dollars. Our guide to LoyalFans payouts goes through each method.

How are subscriptions structured on each platform?

LoyalFans gives each profile a single monthly price between $1 and $50. Fansly lets you run several tiers at once, priced from $5 to $499.99 a month.

We found no tier feature anywhere in LoyalFans’ help centre or app text, only one “Subscription price” field, so the single price is our reading of what LoyalFans offers rather than a sentence LoyalFans wrote. LoyalFans does give you other levers on that one price. Subscription bundles of 3, 6 or 12 months can carry up to 50% off, and promotional campaigns can offer anything from a discount up to a free subscription. Tiers on Fansly do a different job: they let one profile sell different levels of access at different prices.

Which is better for live shows and calls?

On the evidence we hold, LoyalFans, because it documents the whole set: Go Live shows with tip goals, private shows at $1 to $30 a minute, one-on-one audio and video calls at $1 to $90 a minute, toy control and multi-cam battles.

Our verified Fansly facts do not cover live streaming or calls, so we are not scoring Fansly on them. That is a gap in our research. It does not mean Fansly lacks the features, so check Fansly’s help centre for its current live options. The LoyalFans side is set out in full in our guide to LoyalFans live streaming.

How does discovery compare?

Both platforms have their own discovery surfaces, and neither publishes a ranking formula. No agency can guarantee placement on either one.

LoyalFans says ranking depends first on relevance to a search, then on content quality and engagement, then on policy compliance, with no weights published. It also lists creators by feature: live now, available for calls, offering Shout Outs. A badge marks the top 30% of earners over the past seven days. Fansly has an Explore page and does not publish how it ranks creators.

LoyalFans vs Fansly: which one suits which creator?

LoyalFans suits creators who sell their time live, through shows, privates and calls, and who are happy with one subscription price. Fansly suits creators who want to sell several levels of access through tiers and prefer to pay out on request.

If you run both, keep one LoyalFans rule in mind: its acceptable use policy bars you from promoting or linking competing adult platforms on your LoyalFans page, so each profile needs its own traffic from outside. People also compare LoyalFans with Fanvue; we have not checked Fanvue’s terms for this guide, so it is left out rather than guessed at.
